  8. Thank you to the messages of support from Pilgrim families this week. The time has flown - already we head to Rio later today. The last week has been full of wonderful experiences from visiting the religious sites in lima, praying and meeting delightful students in a shanty town primary school. We were also part of the team that finished the st that Mark was speaking about, painting dining halls and a kindergarten. We also formed a chain gang to transport dirt and rocks from excavation uphill. There is something special about the mountains here. I can understand why the image of Mary embraces the mountain picture. We have also stumbled across processions, met the locals and of course picked up a few things at the markets. Cusco and MP have been such an adventure - a certain HIGHlight of our trip that has made our heads spin (thanks to the altitude). Rest assured all is well. Ms Denny

  11. Thanks for the update Ms Denny. Spoke to Jordan on the phone yesterday while delayed at Lima airport. It seems to be the story of your lives these airport delays. I bet you all thought Tiger Airways were bad. At least you are all now starting the next stage of your journey safely in Rio. Can't wait to read the next group of stories and pictures to go with it. All my best wishes to the ladies from OLSH and all your fellow pilgrims on Bus 4 and the other buses.

  12. Hello to Andrew and all the boys from Cathedral. We've been following your adventures and seeing the great work you've done in Lima. Hope you enjoy your time in Rio. On the news this morning they said that the Pope has left Rome for Brazil. Won't be long now until WYD. Have a great time. Lots of love. We miss you.

  14. It looks like everyone is having a truly wonderful experience. I hope it builds memories for a lifetime. As far as I know, we still have the same Prime Minister as when you left and there's not much point in mentioning the cricket. With the "main event" kicking off now, we pray for a truly enriching encounter and a just a little bit selfishly, eagerly anticipate your safe return.

Pagewood boys won both Under 13 RL grand finals today and the U15 side unfortunately suffered a narrow loss in the last minute of extra time! Richard, I hope you are looking after Mr Carestia.
